Grace has worked hard since her Freshman year on the CHHS Varsity Swim team, ultimately becoming the Senior Captain of the team for this 2024-25 season. From swimming her least favorite event in order to help her team win at meets, to creating practice sets, cheering on her teammates, and holding her teammates accountable on their progress; Grace has been an integral part of the team's success this year including winning at the GNRC conference.

Mandi has had an incredible year in running. For Cross Country, she placed 2nd at conference, 16th at regionals, and helped to qualify and compete at the state championship meet. For Winter Track, we have had only a few meets, but in those Mandi has already qualified for States in the 1000m and is only 1 second away from qualifying in both the 500m and 1600m. She is looking to also help the girls 4x800m team qualify for states. Mandi is a powerhouse on our track team and is only just getting started. Be on the lookout for more to come in the spring!.

Anna has been one of the most decorated wrestlers in the state. She has had perfect seasons accumulating over 130 career victories. She has been at the top of the podium on nearly every event she has ever wrestled. She has been named Most Outstanding Wrestler in 10 events, two in which were the regional tournament. A 3x State placer and Now a 3x Regional Champion. Anna will compete for the state championship in two weeks.

Pyper's outstanding performance against Apex Friendship earlier this week made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two runs off one hit. The dominate performance gave her a new career-low in hits. She was also big at the plate, going 3 for 4 with three RBIs, one triple, and one run. The dominant performance gave her a new career high in RBIs. Pyper helped lead the Pirates to a 6-5 win over AFHS

Morgan has been the cool headed leader of the offense from day 1 on the lacrosse field. He leads by example, rather than words and he is the peson that the offensive players look up to and try to emulate on the field. He currently has 7 goals (2nd most on the team), including scoring the clutch game tying goal against Wakefield High that led to our overtime victory. Not only is he an important player for lacrosse, but he has high standards in the classroom holding a 3.875 GPA.

James is a phenomenally dedicated sprinter. He has lead our team for the pas two years in the 55, 100, 200, and 300m. James recently beat his own school record in the 300m and qualified for States in the 55m. James is a leader on our team who demonstrates the steps necessary to rise to the elite level. James is off to a great spring track season already with many fast times ahead!

It takes a special kind of perseverance to be successful in the classroom while playing sports. We are so proud of you!
